London born and raised, Rosie's all about the voice. Whilst blending soul, indie, pop, RnB, trap infused beats, jazz & even hints of UKG together seamlessly, she states she hopes her music encapsulates more of a feeling than a genre... A heartwarming feeling that leaves you trusting things are gonna come good at the end of the day.
She draws inspiration from rock legends such as Deftones + Nirvana with their detuned guitars and raw lyrics, powerhouses of women like H.E.R and Ari Lennox who genre hop divinely and sing their stories unashamedly like the queens that they are, as well as the grime and garage scene she grew up on and so dearly loves. (Think Katy B, Dizzee Rascal, big up Rinse!)
She has previously graced the stage of Ronnie Scotts which sold out so quickly she was invited back for a monthly residency, and has also played at Glastonbury - an experience she knows she'll never quite forget, and is thoroughly looking forward to going back for more. Expect more releases from her this year as her confidence grows and she continues to cut her teeth on London’s music scene with her brand new band in tow, cackling along the way.
